Senior National Account Manager – Wholesale & Convenience; Wine

Want to own a channel for one of the most successful premium wine businesses in the UK?

I’m partnering with an internationally recognised wine company, home to some of the most admired brands in the category, to hire a Senior Account Manager to lead their Wholesale and Convenience channels. It’s a pivotal role within a growing UK sales team, in a business that’s investing seriously in its growth.

You’ll take day-to-day ownership of key accounts including Booker, Dhamecha, SPAR, Bestway, Nisa and Cost cutter, and you’ll shape the strategy for multisite operators to drive distribution and rate of sale. You’ll manage promo nominations, new line forms and category updates. You’ll use retailer data to measure promotional impact and turn it into insight that sharpens the plan. You’ll own channel forecasting alongside demand planning and logistics, and you’ll work closely with Customer Marketing to evolve the B2B marketing strategy.

• Experience in wholesale and convenience, ideally with some of the accounts above
• Strong commercial acumen and a solid grasp of managing a P&L
• A confident, data‑led approach and the drive to become the go‑to expert on retailer systems
• A start‑up mindset: someone who relishes the challenge and opportunity this channel presents
• A team player who builds strong relationships internally and externally, with a genuine desire to learn
• Previous experience in wine or drinks is a bonus but not essential.

Please note that this is a full‑time role which is office‑based in London 3 days per week and 1-2 days working from home / with customer
