Drive agricultural sales growth as an Area Business Manager supporting North Central Alberta from a remote, home-based office. Travel daily throughout the assigned territory.
ADAMA Canada seeks an Area Business Manager for a 15-month contract. You will manage commercial and business development activities, local operations, and new product introductions within a predetermined budget. The position focuses on sales growth, market share, customer relationships, and collaboration with the Canadian Commercial Team.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute commercial activities across North Central Alberta
- Conduct sales calls with retailers and regional distributors
- Develop area business plans and measurable actions
- Coordinate budgeting and product forecasting
- Respond to product application and performance questions
- Agriculture degree or diploma from an approved program
- Minimum two years of related agricultural experience
- Knowledge of local crops, agronomy, and practices
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned region
