The role
RURAL Technologies is a Delaware-based technology company building accessible digital infrastructure for small businesses and underserved markets across the United States and Latin America.
SCORE is our operating system for small businesses: inventory, point of sale, customer records, and reporting in one place, built for owners who have been priced out of or overlooked by conventional business software.
We are looking for independent sales representatives to introduce SCORE to small business owners and earn a commission for every business that becomes a paying customer.
This is a commission-based independent contractor engagement. There is no salary, no set hours, and no exclusivity. You decide when, where, and how you work. You are paid for outcomes: when a business you brought on completes its first subscription payment, you earn a commission.
This suits people who already have standing in a small business community: current or former business owners, community organizers, students with local networks, people working in adjacent services who talk to owners every day.
What you would do
- Identify small businesses that would benefit from SCORE
- Introduce the product, understand the owner's situation, and help them - choose the plan that fits
- Support the owner through signup
- Submit the business through RURAL's platform for verification
You are not responsible for onboarding, implementation, technical support, or account management. RURAL handles all of that. Your work is acquisition.
Commission structure
Commissions are calculated per calendar week, based on qualified acquisitions in that week.
Qualified acquisitions in a week First three: $15
Forth and beyond: $25
Annual plan bonus: if a business subscribes to the one-year commitment plan, you earn 40% of their first payment.
