• Identify and solicit new shipping clients, building strong, long-term relationships.
• Negotiate freight rates and contract terms with both shippers and carriers to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Source reliable carriers and manage carrier relationships to ensure service quality and capacity.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of freight movements from pickup to delivery, ensuring timely and secure transport.
• Utilize freight brokerage software and CRM systems to track shipments, manage accounts, and maintain detailed records.
• Stay informed about market trends, industry regulations, and economic factors impacting the transportation sector.
• Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise between shippers and carriers promptly and professionally.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client support.
• Provide market intelligence and insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in freight brokerage, transportation sales, or a related logistics role.
• Proven track record of successful client acquisition and relationship management.
• Strong understanding of different freight modes (FTL, LTL, intermodal) and their applications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills.
• Proficiency in using freight brokerage software (e.g., Mercury Gate, CH Robinson's Navisphere, DAT) and CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Must have a reliable internet connection, a dedicated home office, and be comfortable using video conferencing tools.
