Senior Sales Manager – Banking & FinTech; Remote, Germany

Our client is a profitable, market-leading Fin Tech whose software is used by more than 1,000 banks. Its products sit at the heart of everyday banking, from account switching to open banking, and it is now expanding into a new European market. We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager who already knows how banks buy, and who has the relationships to prove it.

You will own the full sales cycle with banks and financial institutions across the German-speaking market: opening doors, running consultative conversations with senior decision-makers, negotiating and closing. Around 70% of the role is new business. You will work remotely with a high degree of independence, joining the team in person roughly once a quarter.

• Win new bank and Fin Tech customers across Germany and Austria, from first conversation to signed contract
• Build and manage your own pipeline, with clear forecasting and CRM discipline
• Lead negotiations with heads of retail banking, digital and operations
• Help shape the go-to-market approach for a new European market
• Travel to customers around twice a month

• 3+ years of solution sales into banks or Fin Techs, with a stable career and clear seniority
• An established network among German or Austrian banking decision-makers
• A formal grounding in banking: a bank apprenticeship, a relevant degree, or substantial time working in a bank
• Familiarity with account switching (Kontowechsel), open banking, Reg Tech or banking SaaS is a strong plus
• Proven ability to manage yourself and your pipeline remotely
• German at negotiation level, plus good English
