As an Account Executive, you will own sales and customer relationships across North America, winning new business and deepening the trust of the utilities and energy-intensive companies who already rely on us.

As an Account Executive, you will drive new business growth and serve as the primary relationship owner for our North American customers. This role works closely with Customer Operations, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Research, and plays a key part in helping customers understand the operational, reliability, and financial value of Delta-X Research’s decision-support tools.

We’re growing our Sales team and are recruiting for both an Account Executive and a Director of Sales.

Delta-X Research is a Canadian software company serving the electric power industry. Since 1992, we’ve helped utilities and industrial operators detect risk, improve reliability, and prevent outages with advanced analytics rooted in real-world transformer data.

We offer:

• Competitive base salary of $80,000 to $100,000 CAD to start, plus a commission structure based on results and profit sharing. On-target total compensation, combining base salary and commission, is $140,000 to $165,000 CAD.

A word about travel. This role involves up to 40 percent travel across Canada and the United States, mostly customer visits, industry conferences, and trade shows. Travel comes in clusters rather than spread evenly through the year. February and March are consistently the busiest months, with a second busy stretch from September through November and a quieter summer. Trips typically run Monday to Friday.

International travel is not a regular part of this role, but a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally are required.
