Our client, a leading provider of electrical test, monitoring and measurement solutions, is seeking a Key Account Manager – Distribution to grow business through established electrical and industrial distributor relationships across the United States. This remote role combines strategic account management, distributor engagement and consultative technical sales, with an emphasis on expanding business within existing partners.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of established national and regional distribution partners.
• Build relationships with distributor leadership, purchasing teams, branch managers and sales representatives.
• Develop account growth plans, conduct business reviews and identify opportunities for additional sales across branches, territories and product categories.
• Collaborate with distributor sales teams to reach end customers and increase product awareness and sales.
• Coordinate technical training, product demonstrations, sales tools, new product introductions and joint marketing activities.
• Support resolution of quotations, pricing, order and delivery issues in partnership with internal teams.
• Maintain forecasts, pipeline records, customer activity and account performance reporting.
• Identify promising new distribution relationships and business opportunities as appropriate.

• 3-5+ years of sales experience involving distribution channels, key accounts, or technical electrical/industrial equipment.
• A track record of developing customer relationships and growing revenue in existing accounts.
• Familiarity with electrical or industrial distribution models and the ability to work effectively across branch, regional and corporate levels.
• Ability to understand technically differentiated products and communicate their value to customers and channel partners.
• Effective negotiation, presentation, communication and account planning skills.
• Comfort using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
• Ability to work remotely, reside near a major airport and travel up to 50%.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

• Sales of electrical test and measurement equipment, electrical power products, instrumentation or other higher-value technical equipment.
• Experience working for a manufacturer managing distributors or directly for an electrical/industrial distributor.
• Experience developing joint account plans, branch-level sales initiatives, or distributor training programs.

The anticipated base salary is approximately $115,000 USD, with bonus opportunities and benefits. Potential total compensation is approximately $140,000-$150,000 USD based on performance; actual earnings depend on plan terms and results.

This is a remote position based in the United States. Candidates in the Eastern US and Dallas-Fort Worth area are preferred, although qualified candidates elsewhere in the US will be considered. Travel is up to 50%.
