Internal Sales Associate

Job Overview

This remote opportunity supports Financial Advisors within LPL Financial. As an Internal Sales Associate, you will work closely with the Vice President of Branch Development to recruit top Financial Advisors to join our business model and programs.

• Prospect through online job boards, social media, databases, and outbound phone calls.
• Serve as the first point of contact with prospective advisors, articulating and selling our business model and benefits of affiliation.
• Screen advisors via phone interview based on financial institution needs.
• Partner and communicate directly with financial institutions regarding hiring needs and prospective advisors, conducting timely follow‑ups.
• Consistently enter all sales progress, meeting notes, and client contacts into CRM.
• Set appointments and coordinate on‑site visits.
• Collaborate with the VP of Branch Development and Business Development Consultants on current advisor succession and recruiting needs.
• Support the VP of Branch Development and Director of Marketing with events, emailing, mailers, phone calls, meetings, and other duties.

We seek a highly motivated, results‑driven professional with a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

• 1+ year of related work experience within financial services.
• 1+ year of experience in a sales environment.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Prior experience using CRM systems.
• Experience working within a team environment and with remote co‑workers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Series 6,7,63,65, and/or66 licensing preferred.
• Attention to detail and high level of follow‑through.
• Energetic and results‑oriented attitude.
• Understanding of sales techniques.
• Strong prospecting skills.
