Consultant Ecologist - Stafford
£32,000 - £41,000 (open to discussion depending on experience) + Hybrid/Remote + Progression

Pebble Recruitment is working with a leading Environmental Consultancy in Stafford, now looking for an experienced Ecologist to join their growing team.

With a strong reputation and a steady pipeline of projects around Stafford / Staffordshire, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse ecology surveys, deliver technical reports, and manage exciting projects - all while progressing your career in a supportive, people-first company that puts sustainability at its core. You will be either an Ecologist or Senior Ecologist.

What you’ll do:

* Lead protected species surveys

* Write PEA, BNG, and protected species reports

* Support project delivery and fee proposals

* Manage small–medium projects (with support on larger ones)

What we’re looking for:

* 3 - 8+ years of ecology experience

* Degree in Ecology or related field

* 1+ protected species licence (preferred)

* Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation

* Full UK driving licence
