Audit US-based Agriscience courseware to ensure content (soil science, crop management, livestock, agribusiness) is scientifically accurate and culturally relevant to a Brazilian K-12 audience. - Precision Translation Editing
:
Perform the final technical pass on the initially translated text, correcting mistranslated agriscience terminology and rewriting sections to reflect native professional nuance.
- In-Depth Knowledge of Brazilian Agriscience: profound understanding of Brazil's unique agricultural landscape (tropical soil science, regional crops such as soy, coffee, sugarcane, Brazilian environmental regulations).
- Native Portuguese Fluency:
Exceptional writing and editing skills in Portuguese. - Cross-Cultural Curriculum Adaptation:
Ability to replace US-centric examples with Brazilian equivalents that achieve the same pedagogical goals.
- A degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or related field.
- Professional experience within the Brazilian agricultural sector.
- Proven experience in technical writing, editing, or curriculum development.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
