Seasonal Ecologist

ADAS, part of the RSK Group, is seeking Seasonal Ecologist positions to join our highly skilled ecology team. These are fixed‑term contracts of six months throughout the busy spring and summer period, starting in March/April, with potential to extend into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Positions are based in South East England (home based around the West Sussex, Cambridgeshire, East Essex, Kent borders).

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals keen to develop an ecology career and able to carry out ecological surveys, desk studies, research and reporting. Applicants should have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Flexibility for night and weekend work is required. Experience with European Protected Species survey work is not essential but desirable.

• Carry out a range of ecological surveys and assist senior colleagues with other surveys to develop skill set
• Carry out desk studies, consultations, research, data management and analysis, and report writing
• Deliver work efficiently to meet agreed timescales and quality standards

• Enthusiastic individual keen to develop an ecology career
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle*
• Flexible working, availability for night and weekend work as required
• Experience with European Protected Species survey work (not essential)
