Are you an experienced Skipper with a Master IV looking for a unique opportunity in one of Australia’s most stunning and remote marine environments? Join our passionate team at Cone Bay, WA, where we lead the way in sustainable Barramundi farming.
About the RoleThis is a hands‑on leadership position overseeing vessel operations for our aquaculture site. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Safely navigating and managing tides and weather conditions.
- Harvesting Barramundi and transporting the catch to Derby.
- Returning with feed deliveries for the farm.
- Ens compliance with all maritime safety standards and company protocols.
- Master IV ticket (mandatory).
- MED I ticket (preferable)
- Previous experience in fish farming or commercial fishing (highly desirable).
- Experience with cranes, capstans and dogging and rigging.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage resources and mentor a committed crew.
- Exceptional focus on safety and operational excellence.
- Resilience and problem‑solving ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
- Work with a welcoming, passionate team dedicated to sustainable aquaculture.
- Enjoy a 4/4 roster for great work‑life balance.
- Meals and accommodation provided onboard.
- Annual travel allowance of $8,000.
