Groundwater Study Position

Employer Industry: Geological and Environmental Research

• Salary of $17 per hour
• Flexible schedule with a minimum of 8 hours per week and the option to work up to 30 hours
• Partially remote work eligibility
• Opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in hydrogeology and environmental science

• Review and edit entries in the existing database of aquifer measurements
• Consolidate fields into a new database structure
• Confirm attributes such as title and location by reviewing technical reports
• Note entries with missing or uncertain data
• Identify and send letters to landowners with wells meeting specific criteria

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to effectively interact with diverse cultural backgrounds
• Enrollment for credit at an educational institution with proof of enrollment required
• Employment will require a criminal background check

• Experience in hydrogeology, geology, or environmental science
• Familiarity with databases, spreadsheets, or tabular data
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro
• Proficiency in Python programming
