We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Per Diem Research Data Associate to assist with data entry for a research study. This 100% remote position is open only to candidates who permanently reside in the following states:
New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, North Carolina, Minnesota, Georgia, Florida, Colorado, Utah, California, Oregon and Washington.

• Perform accurate and efficient data entry from study‑related materials into research databases and spreadsheets.
• Verify and validate entered data against source documents to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Follow established protocols and guidelines for data handling to comply with study requirements and confidentiality standards.
• Identify and report discrepancies or errors in data and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
• Maintain proper documentation of research data according to study requirements.
• Assist in organizing and managing research files, records, and materials.
• Facilitate other research study‑related tasks as needed to support the research team.

Associate’s degree plus one year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.

Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Certification is preferred (required in some disciplines). Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred. Experience working in an Academic Medical Center is preferred.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with New York state law on salary transparency. The salary range for this role is $28.15 – $28.15 per hour. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The stated range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
