Job Description
The 2‑year Physician Scientist Program provides pharmaceutical medicine training and opportunities to physicians completing residency or fellowship. The program offers in‑depth exposure to clinical drug development, with emphasis on clinical trial planning, execution, data analysis, and reporting of results. Physician Scientists develop skills working with clinical and cross‑functional teams as programs progress toward regulatory approval.
Rotation Details- Global Clinical Development: Participate in writing research protocols, conducting clinical trials, safety monitoring, data analysis, and communicating study findings.
- Global Regulatory Affairs & Clinical Safety: Focus on late‑stage and lifecycle drug activities; understand regulatory policies and interaction with health agencies (e.g., FDA), pharmacovigilance, drug safety monitoring, signal detection, and adverse report processing.
- Global Medical/Scientific Affairs: Manage a product asset through pre‑launch, launch, and post‑launch phases (US and Global), including considerations around drug promotion.
Education and Experience
- Candidates must hold an MD degree and have completed residency or fellowship training in an accredited US medical program, preferably within the last 5 years.
