Voice Actor​/Coach AI Voice Technology

Apply professional voice and speech expertise to help improve AI voice technology through precise analysis of short speech recordings. This remote contract opportunity values nuanced listening, technical accuracy, and clear written observations. Prior AI experience is not required.

Analyze short speech recordings and prepare structured written assessments using professional voice terminology.

Identify vocal characteristics including perceived age, gender, accent or dialect when confident, vocal quality, resonance, phonation type, pitch, intonation, breath support, rhythm, and tempo.

Evaluate emotional tone, energy, articulation clarity, delivery style, and differences among scripted, spontaneous, and conversational samples.

Assess recording conditions, including room sound, device type such as microphone, headset, or phone, and studio or home recording quality.

Produce clear, detailed reports with consistent technical language to support AI training and evaluation.

Collaborate asynchronously through digital platforms while maintaining confidentiality, objectivity, accuracy, and high-quality documentation.

Professional experience in voice acting, voice coaching, dialect coaching, vocal pedagogy, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of speech analysis, prosody, intonation, phonetics, accent and dialect variation, vocal quality assessment, resonance, placement, and breath control.

Experience in audio or sound engineering, particularly recording-quality and acoustic-environment evaluation, is preferred.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

English fluency at B2 level or higher. Native proficiency in any language is welcome.

A reliable internet connection and high-quality headphones for accurate audio assessment.

Remote, independent contractor engagement.

$30 to $70 per hour.
