Remote Security Guard at Scarlet Security

Become a pivotal part of Scarlet Security & Risk Group as a Remote Security Guard in Northwest British Columbia. Deliver critical security services at a mining operation while ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

This role involves monitoring site activities, conducting thorough patrolling and vehicle checks, and ensuring the security of the mine area. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service mindset, excellent communication skills, and maintain high standards of safety. Your efforts will not only ensure adherence to site rules but also assist in emergency responses and securing the lodge area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce site access and intrusion detection policies

• Conduct mobile and foot patrols regularly

• Perform detailed incident reporting on suspicious occurrences

• Respond to emergencies and de-escalate conflicts

• Maintain monitoring systems including video surveillance

Requirements:

• Valid British Columbia Security License

• Full Class 5 Drivers License with acceptable Driver's Abstract

• Strong written and spoken English skills

• Ability to perform drug and alcohol tests

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and pass health checks
