Pool Service Technician

Brightside Pool Care is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pool Service Technician to join our team. As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools to ensure they remain safe, clean, and inviting for our customers. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work independently, and demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Perform routine pool maintenance including vacuuming, skimming, brushing walls and tiles, and emptying baskets.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry, adding chemicals as needed to ensure proper levels of chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and other water quality standards.
• Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and automatic cleaners; identify issues and perform basic repairs or recommend further service.
• Clean and maintain pool decks, equipment areas, and surrounding environments.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, chemical usage, and customer interactions.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding pool conditions, maintenance recommendations, and any necessary repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to protect yourself, customers, and property.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training is a plus.
• Prior experience in pool maintenance or a related field preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a remote position.
