Job Description
  • Work with the Institute’s leaders to establish, promote, and grow the Latinx Mental Health and Social Justice Institute in support of the Latine/x community.
  • Tasks include: weekly meetings with supervisor (1 hour), working meetings with other members of the institute as needed (1-2 hours), social media management, content search and delivery (2 – 5 hours), marketing efforts (2 –
    5), and engage or lead institute’s projects/initiatives such as service, community engagement, collaborations, and among others (1 – 10 hours).
Qualifications
  • Applicants must have interest and understanding of the Latine/x community, and commitment to working for their wellbeing and related social justice issues that affect the community.
  • We are looking for individuals who are organized, are familiar with various social media outlets, and able to take initiative with meeting the goals of the institute.
  • Experience with organizing events and Spanish skills are preferred.
