While supervising a staff of social workers, you’ll see that the intensive home-based programs are successfully supporting the needs of our high-risk youth and their families. Through strong collaboration, you will guide your team to support families in achieving their full potential.

$82,500/year

As a Social Services Program Manager in Visalia, California, you’ll hire, train, supervise and evaluate on average 5-7 social workers who implement treatment plans for youth who struggle with behavioral and mental health issues. You’ll have a direct impact on the success of the program as a resource to those you supervise by training staff, mitigating client safety issues, supporting program compliance and evaluating staff’s ability and willingness to provide strength-based trauma-informed care.

As part of the team-based approach, you’ll participate in group supervision, staff meetings and have the ability to shadow those you supervise to provide in-the-moment modeling, coaching, and feedback. As a way to strengthen families and support in times of need, you will provide back up after hours support to social workers on a rotation basis.
