Job Information  Exemption Status:
Non-Exempt    A Brief Overview  Services Technicians perform a wide range of duties internally to ensure the ongoing operation of the organization. Duties can range between sanitation, laundry, and nutritional services. Nutritional Services Technicians perform a variety of functions while preparing, servicing, delivering and cleaning up food.
Experience Qualifications
* Experience in a service industry. Preferred
* Experience working in a hospital. Preferred
* Experience handing money transactions. Preferred

Skills and Abilities

* Ability to read a limited number of two- and three- syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. (Required proficiency)
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. (Required proficiency)
What you will do
* Handles food throughout the cooking, serving, and cleaning process.
* Sanitizes and maintains work area and equipment. This may include washing dishes and pans. Ensuring proper temperatures are maintains while cooking and cleaning.
* Operates cash register and responsible for the cash flow from the customer.
* Documents processes and procedures as necessary. Performs inventory and ordering of supplies as necessary.

Travel Requirements
* 20% Delivery and pick-up; dependent upon department need.
