Join Indiana University Health as a Psychologist - Bariatric Surgery. Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bariatric Psychologist to join our Bariatric Surgery team.

• Monday - Friday
• Opportunity to work from home one day per week
• Patient volume: 12 behavioral health evaluations and 4 follow-ups per week
• Multi-disciplinary team includes surgeons, RNs, RDs, exercise physiologists, and behavioral health professionals
• Practice locations: IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, IN and IU Health West Hospital in Avon, IN

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychological evaluations for bariatric surgery candidates, including diagnostic clinical interviews and psychological assessments.
• Offer direction and support to patients throughout the program, from initial evaluation to long-term follow-up, including individual therapy and support groups.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.
  
  D.)
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Counseling Psychology
• HSPP Required
• Experience in presurgical evaluations, bariatrics, and research preferred.
• Strong foundation in clinical psychology, with experience in behavioral medicine and weight-related health conditions.
• Skilled in evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, and psychoeducation.
