Position Overview
We are seeking a full‑time Foster Care Worker to join our dedicated team. If you have a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field with at least two years of experience in the human services field, or a master’s degree in a human services field, we want to hear from you! We provide comprehensive training to help you excel in this role.
Responsibilities- Play a vital role in supporting children and families, ensuring children thrive in safe and nurturing environments.
- Teach essential skills such as emotion regulation, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
- Collaborate with foster parents to provide training, licensing, and ongoing support for both the families and the children in their care.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field with at least two years of experience in the human services field, or a master’s degree in a human services field.
- Compassionate and eager to learn, enthusiastic about helping families build on their strengths and connect with community resources.
- Strong commitment to advocating for children and families and fostering their growth and well‑being.
- Dedicated to providing exceptional support and advocacy for healthy families.
- Completion of Predictive Index Assessments is required to determine suitability for the position.
- Flexible scheduling and hybrid remote work options for those residing in or around the Omaha area.
