Due to continued organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare Corporation is now hiring for multiple new part‑time Housing Searcher positions to support the California Conditional Release Program. This statewide program exclusively serves adults who have a history of committing sexual offenses. With community safety as the top priority, the program seeks to support clients so they may live healthy and productive lives in the community.
ProgramObjectives
- Community safety
- Preventing client recidivism
- Transitioning clients from hospital treatment into the community
- Securing housing
- Proactively detecting and addressing client needs and risk factors
- Providing outpatient behavioral health services, intensive case management, 24/7 monitoring, and clients
- Researching and analyzing the rental housing market in predetermined counties
- Generating lists of potential housing options for existing and new program clients
- Evaluating and assessing housing options for alignment with client conditions of release
- Developing relationships with landlords and property managers
- Traveling throughout the region to conduct onsite in‑person inspections of properties
- Collaborating with Liberty’s Housing Coordinator, Regional Coordinators and Case Workers
You will work a flexible part‑time schedule – approximately 20 to 30 hours weekly. This position will allow you to partially work from your home office and require you to regularly travel throughout the region.
You will be paid $35.00 per hour and will receive reimbursement for approved mileage and travel expenses.
What we’re looking for:
- Relevant professional experience or past work as a case manager, social worker, supports coordinator, parole officer, or in a similar role coordinating housing or other community supports for parolees or people experiencing mental illness.
- Self‑motivated with a high degree of autonomy.
- Own vehicle and willingness to travel throughout the region.
