Job Title: Remote Social Support Specialist

Hourly Pay: $20 - $35/hour

We are looking for a dedicated Social Support Specialist to assist individuals and families in overcoming social, emotional, and financial challenges. In this role, you will provide essential support, resources, and advocacy to clients, helping them access services to improve their well-being. Assess client needs and provide appropriate social support services

• Help clients access community resources, such as housing assistance, food programs, and mental health services
• Offer emotional support for clients facing mental health issues, substance abuse, or family challenges
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, legal professionals, and other organizations to ensure comprehensive client support
• Advocate for clients, securing resources and services, and providing follow-up support
• Maintain accurate case records in compliance with confidentiality policies

Monitor clients' progress toward goals, adjusting strategies as needed

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support when necessary

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

1-2 years of experience in social services or related field

Knowledge of community social services programs and resources

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Empathy and ability to work with diverse populations and sensitive issues

Ability to manage caseloads independently

• Comfort working with complex life situations
