Hybrid Working:
Bradford Children and Families Trust operates a hybrid working model. However, you may be required to work from the office for specific tasks or team days, as per the needs of the service.

About the Role:

Bradford Children's Trust is seeking a skilled Advanced Practitioner (AP) to join our Duty and Assessment Team 1 at Keighley Town Hall. This pivotal role is perfect for a qualified social worker with significant experience in children's services, particularly in the duty and assessment area.

As an AP, you will be responsible for leading and conducting complex assessments, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families. You will also provide support and supervision to social workers within your team, ensuring high-quality practice and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage complex assessments in line with safeguarding protocols.
Provide guidance and support to junior social workers and team members.
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
Ensure effective risk management and care planning, promoting child safety.
Deliver high-quality, child-focused practice in a fast-paced environment.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced social worker who can demonstrate:

A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent).
Experience in a statutory children's social work setting, specifically in duty and assessment.
Registered with Social Work England.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex caseloads.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with a child-focused approach.

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent

* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services

* Social Work England Registration

* Driving license and access to own vehicle
