Senior Practitioner

This locum role offers an attractive rate of £37 per hour and spans 3 months to cover maternity leave, with the worker expected back early September. Based in Bradford West, C&F Team 2, you will find yourself at the heart of meaningful work that makes a real difference.

This is a full-time position that blends in-office presence with the flexibility of hybrid working. What you will do:

• Lead and manage complex casework within the Children and Families Team, ensuring excellent outcomes for children and young people.
• Provide expert supervision and advice to less experienced social workers to enhance their professional practice.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement effective child protection plans.
• Mentor and support new team members, fostering an inclusive and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Analyse data and outcomes to inform service improvements and ensure adherence to statutory guidelines.
