In this rewarding role, you'll work at the heart of our SEND Partnership, supporting improvements to Education, Health and Care Plans and ensuring every child gets the support they need to thrive. If you're organised, collaborative and committed to making a positive difference, this is the role for you. This role may be suitable for home working, following an assessment. Home-based roles require a minimum of one day in the office/site per week.

Interviews for this role will be held on 20 March.

Responsibilities
  • Support the EHC Quality Practice Lead to improve the quality of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Organise and co-ordinate training sessions with schools, settings and partners.
  • Attend and facilitate annual reviews to ensure compliance and high-quality plans.
  • Communicate SEND legislation and local processes clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Analyse EHCP data and outcomes to identify priorities and inform training.
  • Audit EHCPs and work with schools to improve plans rated as requiring improvement.
  • Ensure a minimum of one day in the office/site per week if working from home, after assessment.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (proof of licence and vehicle insurance required).
  • NVQ Level 3 in business administration or a relevant field, with knowledge of SEND principles and legislation.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in education, local government or a related field.
  • Excellent ICT skills, including MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint and data systems.
  • Effective communication skills and resilience when managing challenging conversations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, schools, health professionals and families.
  • A flexible, calm and professional approach in changing environments.
  • Enhanced DBS check will be required (unless already registered with the DBS Update Service).
