The Statutory Specialist Services team provides support to citizens of Birmingham who are experiencing complex circumstances such as Sensory Impairment.

• You have demonstrable social work experience, the ability to work positively as part of a team and in partnership with other stakeholders, and an interest and skills to work in the specific area of Sensory Impairment.
• Working within the legislative framework, you will carry out social work functions, including working within a duty system, to complete conversations and provide support and guidance, drawing on sound interpersonal and communication skills.
• You will carry a caseload and will need to produce reports and have resilience to deliver under pressure within set time frames.

Requirements:

• You must have a Social Work qualification.
• You must also have current Social Work England registration.
