Social Worker – Fostering Support Team

Salary: £44,075 - £49,282 (Grade
7)

Hours:

37 hours per week

Contract type:
Full Time, permanent

Within this role you will be involved in offering support and supervision to foster parents in order to meet the needs of the children they care for working within Fostering Regulations and related National Minimum Standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support and supervision to foster parents
  • Ensuring compliance with Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards
  • Building respectful and empowering relationships with children, young people and families
  • Contributing to the overall delivery of restorative practice approaches

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Social Work England registered
  • Completed the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) or equivalent post‑qualifying pathway
  • Experience in fostering or similar social work setting
