Working Arrangements

Agile – minimum 3 days in the office. Full‑time with flexibility to support work‑life balance, including job share in line with service needs. Flexible arrangements must maintain consistency in case management.

Eligibility Requirements

The successful candidate must speak English to an appropriate standard, be a qualified social worker, and be registered with Social Work England.

DBS and Overseas Check

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Practice Development Hub to deliver the Social Work Academy offer and mentor Newly Qualified Social Workers during their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment.
  • Collaborate with the team manager to drive best practice and support learning and development within the team.
  • Manage a reduced caseload.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified social worker and registered with Social Work England.
  • Self‑motivated and innovative in family interventions.
  • Experience in statutory children’s social work and driving child protection and court plans for vulnerable children.
  • Committed to supporting and developing teams, with experience mentoring students, NQSWs or colleagues.
