Housing Officer (Interim - 3 Months)
Hertfordshire | Hybrid / Remote | Patch visits approx. 3 days per week
OverviewAn experienced Housing Officer is required for a 3-month interim assignment managing a general needs patch across Hertfordshire. This is a varied, frontline role covering core housing management functions, with a particular need for someone confident handling anti-social behaviour cases alongside wider tenancy management responsibilities.
ResponsibilitiesThe role will involve managing day-to-day tenancy issues including ASB, estate and property inspections, tenancy sustainment, safeguarding concerns and liaison with partner agencies. You'll work autonomously across your patch, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and residents receive a consistent and professional service.
While this is a mixed housing management role, solid ASB experience is essential, including handling complaints, taking proportionate enforcement action and working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners where required.
Key Requirements- Proven experience in a Housing Officer or similar tenancy management role
- Good working knowledge of ASB case management and resolution
- Experience of patch-based working, inspections and customer-facing visits
- Understanding of safeguarding and multi-agency working
- Ability to hit the ground running in an interim environment
The role offers hybrid/remote working, with an expectation of patch-based visits around three days per week.
