The Career Foundation operates five full suite Integrated Employment Services (IES) Centres across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), conveniently located in Etobicoke, North York, Toronto, York, and Scarborough. These centres provide job seekers with a comprehensive range of services, including career exploration, résumé and interview preparation, job search support, employer connections, and employment retention support.
As a Career Success Coach
, you will fulfill a pivotal role in the Progress phase of the Integrated Employment Services (IES) client journey by supporting job seekers in developing the skills, confidence, and strategies required to secure sustainable employment. This role focuses on individualized coaching, employment action planning, workshop facilitation, and structured employment preparation aligned with labour market opportunities. The Career Success Coach works closely with clients to identify employment goals, address barriers to employment, and build job search competencies through one on one coaching, workshops, and ongoing support.
The role also requires close collaboration with other members of the team to ensure coordinated service delivery across all phases of the client journey. You will also be responsible for meeting ongoing individual targets relevant to your position that contribute to the team’s collective ability to meet all contractual obligations with our funder and lead clients to successful outcomes.
Full-time (37.5 hours per week), leave-based contract until June 30, 2027, with strong potential for a permanent opportunity with the company.
Starting Salary:The starting annual salary for this position is $57,000.00 (or $58k if the successful candidate holds a master’s degree, full bilingualism in French, or full proficiency in Sign Language).
Base Location and Travel Requirements:This opportunity is based at The Career Foundation’s Central Toronto Employment Centre, located near Yonge & St. Clair Avenue East, and requires periodic travel to other locations as needed, including employer sites and other stakeholder locations. The successful candidate must be willing to work on site from the office on a full time basis. The position will also permit a hybrid schedule, allowing for one work from home day per week.
The hybrid schedule is based on performance and operational requirements and is therefore subject to change at any time.

- Provides individualized employment coaching, supporting clients in developing clear employment goals, job search strategies, and career pathways aligned with labour market opportunities.
- Develops, implements, and regularly updates individualized Employment Action Plans to ensure alignment with client needs, program requirements, and employment outcomes.
- Facilitates structured workshops and group sessions related to job search strategies, résumé development, interview preparation, workplace expectations, and career development.
- Develops and updates workshop materials to ensure content is current, engaging, and aligned with labour market trends and program objectives.
