Role OverviewAs a Trainee Claims Assessor you will provide vital financial support to individuals and families when they need it most, while gaining full training and ongoing support.
Responsibilities- Assess claims using medical and policy knowledge.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers throughout the claims process.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Claims department while managing your own caseload.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, always putting the customer first.
- Curious and analytical – able to investigate, spot patterns and think critically.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
- Organised and resilient – comfortable managing varied workloads in a fast‑paced environment.
- Empathetic and professional – able to handle sensitive situations with care and discretion.
- Relevant experience in customer service, case work or financial services, or qualifications or experience in law, psychology, nursing or a related field.
