Career Development Consultant

Join WCG as a Career Development Consultant in Chilliwack, BC. This role focuses on client assessments, action plan development, and individualized job search support with a mix of in-person and remote work.
As an Employment Consultant at WCG, you will manage client case files while providing essential job search and sustainment support. This position requires collaboration with clients in creating and revising personalized employment action plans. Experience in coaching and overcoming barriers is essential as you navigate the local labor market and engage with community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Client Needs Assessments to tailor action plans

• Manage and document progress on client case files

• Collaborate with organizations to coordinate services

• Provide individualized job search and sustainment support

• Stay informed about employment programs and funding options
Requirements:

• Experience empowering clients with complex barriers

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field preferred

• Familiarity with ICM and online employment tools

• Computer literacy, Microsoft Office proficiency

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
