Project Worker
Due to expansion of current services and with funding from Welsh Government, NYAS Cymru (Wales) are seeking a number of exciting new positions. You will join a committed and dynamic team that is making children and young people’s rights a reality in Wales.
We are looking for a Project Worker to grow and develop our existing project for young women and girls who are care‑experienced young mothers or expectant mothers.
You will provide holistic wraparound support, advice, information and advocacy along with the shared responsibility of developing participation groups, training and peer‑led support.
Qualifications- Proven experience in working with children and young people in a social care setting
- Knowledge of Social Services Processes and Procedures
- An understanding of the importance of listening to children and young people without bias or prejudice
- Experience of group work, providing training and developing toolkits for professionals and young people
- Understanding of safeguarding and legal duty in respect of reporting any concerns

Location & RemunerationCardiff Office, with hybrid working or home based depending on location.
£25,200 with future progression to £27,700 per year.
