Early Lead Worker

Position: Early Help Lead Worker
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an Early Help Lead Worker on behalf of Swansea Council to work with children and their families in their Early Help Service. The role is hybrid working with a mixture of home working, visits in the community with service users and office based work. With the main office hub for this role being based in Gorseinon (SA4 4FE
). As such, there is a requirement for the successful candidate to be a car driver as you will still be providing face-to-face support to families where applicable.

Duties of the role:

Complete Early Help Assessments and develop support plans with families
Facilitate Team Around the Family meetings
Coordinate multi-agency support using a whole family support
Carrying out emergency interventions and support visits to families
Holding a case load of families that you will work closely with alongside the assistance of the Social Worker The ideal candidate will have:

Experience of working with young people and their families
Full UK driving license
Enhanced DBS check
Be able to work upon own initiative and within a team

The role is a temporary, full time position for an initial period of 3 months with a view to this being extended on a rolling basis and is offering a pay rate of £18.35 PAYE per hour. The council are also planning to recruit permanently into this position in a few months time and more often than not they will take on the temporary members of staff to fill these vacancies.
