Join Kids Help Phone as a Bilingual Crisis Support Worker, providing remote support to youth in distress. Engage in meaningful work ensuring young people across Canada access vital mental health services.
This full-time remote role requires effective supervision of volunteer crisis responders and delivering timely support through text messaging services. You'll be part of a compassionate team, equipped with your knowledge in social work or psychology, ready to make impactful decisions in crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise volunteer crisis responders via online platform
• Provide timely, high-quality support to youth
• Conduct conversations during high-demand times
• Liaise with emergency and child protection services
• Support and engage with the crisis responder community
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field
• Minimum 2 years in crisis intervention and supervision
• Knowledge of mental health and risk assessments
• Bilingual in French and English
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment
