Salary for this position is subject to the pending 2026/2027 national pay award. The final salary will be adjusted accordingly. Newly Qualified Social Workers will commence on Grade9 pay and job description before progressing to Grade
10 after 2 years. Experienced social workers will commence at Grade
10 pay and job description.
The position qualifies for a market supplement payment of £200 per month, which will be reviewed on 31
March
2027.
The successful candidate may be eligible for up to a maximum of £8,000 (including VAT) towards the cost of expenses incurred due to relocating to Ceredigion.
About the Role- Provide expert social work practice across all age groups for individuals with disabilities.
- Lead on complex casework, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred outcomes.
- Offer professional guidance, helping to develop best practice.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multi‑agency partners to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Qualified and registered Social Worker.
- Knowledge of legislation and best practice in disability services.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the rights of individuals.
