Position: Remote Bilingual Counsellor Role
Become a Bilingual Counsellor with Kids Help Phone, providing remote support to youth through phone and live chat. Support young people struggling with various issues in a flexible setting.

This relief position requires a Bachelor's or Master's in social services and strong crisis intervention skills. You'll engage with youth, offering single-session solution-focused support, risk assessment, safety planning, and empathetic communication. The role is remote and caters exclusively to candidates outside Quebec and Ontario, making it a great fit for dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct phone and live chat counselling for young people

• Assess crisis situations involving youth risk

• Work independently, exercising sound judgment

• Maintain professionalism during emotionally charged calls

• Engage in team meetings and collaborative tasks

Requirements:

• Degree in social services or equivalent experience

• 1-2 years of crisis intervention or counselling experience

• Bilingual in English and French

• Knowledge of youth at risk legislation

• Reliable high-speed internet and a private workspace
