We can be flexible in terms of working patterns, with some roles being remote, whilst other roles will require some on site presence occasionally, to complete face to face work. Candidate must be:
You must have safeguarding adults practice experience and knowledge and demonstrate a commitment to person centred working and proportionate best practice.
• Social Worker.
• At least 5yrs post qualifying experience.
• Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interests, Deprivation of Liberty, Care Act 2014
• Able to provide comprehensive and effective management skills and supervision to the team.
• Able to manage the day to day waiting lists and reviewing function.
• Able to provide support and guidance to the team and duty function.
• Be able to deputise for team manager as required.
The Devon Safeguarding Adults Service receives and responds to safeguarding adult referrals within the county. We are currently embarking on 2 projects to support capacity and our improvement journey in safeguarding. One project is focused on triage and low level enquiries and the other on full / more complex enquiries liaising with wider services across Devon where required.
We are looking for experienced social workers to join our project teams. You must have safeguarding adults practice experience and knowledge and demonstrate a commitment to person centred working and proportionate best practice.
You will be working alongside a team of Social Care Assessors, Social Workers, Advanced Practitioners and Team Managers, both within the safeguarding team and broader community teams.
You must be autonomous and able to learn and adapt at pace to complete workload expectations. You will receive good quality support and supervision and join a successful and positive existing project team
