Position: CHEO Family Resource Worker - Hybrid Role

In this temporary full-time role, the Family Resource Worker will engage with families experiencing diverse needs, focusing on system navigation and resource coordination. You'll assist families, particularly those facing socioeconomic challenges, and guide them in accessing crucial healthcare services and community resources. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate family needs to tailor support services

• Facilitate access to healthcare and community resources

• Manage applications for funding and resources

• Coach families in independent application processes

• Collaborate with NDH clinicians for aligned support

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Services or related field

• Three years of relevant experience required

• Experience with children having neurodevelopmental needs

• Familiarity with community resources and funding programs

• Bilingual in French and English is essential
