As part of Closer to Home's innovative team, you will employ the Teaching Family Model to effectively assist and supervise young individuals. Your responsibilities will include managing daily activities, providing emotional and practical support, and ensuring a safe environment. Engage actively with families to enhance community inclusion and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily life activities and educational support

• Develop strategies to manage crises and enhance skills

• Support family connections and community integration

• Allow focused attention on mental, physical, and emotional wellness

• Perform household duties, including cleaning and cooking

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma or degree is preferred

• Experience working with vulnerable populations

• Valid Alberta Driver’s License and reliable vehicle necessary

• Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search mandatory

• Effective communicator and organizer
