Based in the dynamic city of Rochdale, this full-time position offers you the chance to support the delivery within our Youth Justice Service.
Embrace the challenge of working directly with children, young people, and their families by delivering high-quality interventions across the full Youth Justice pathway, including prevention and early intervention, diversion from the criminal justice system, court orders and statutory supervision, and custody and resettlement planning.

- Conduct Asset Plus and prevention/diversion assessments
- Develop and deliver tailored intervention plans to reduce offending and safeguard young people and victims
- Manage caseloads of children with complex needs in line with legislation and Youth Justice standards
- Prepare high-quality reports for court, panels, and multi-agency forums
- Collaborate with partner agencies such as social care, education, police, and health
- Engage effectively with families to support positive outcomes
- Contribute to safeguarding planning and risk management processes

- Proven experience working within a Youth Justice Service or similar setting
- Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed practice, and safeguarding
- Experience managing cases across prevention, diversion, and statutory court/custody interventions
- Ability to complete assessments such as Asset Plus (or equivalent frameworks)
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS clearance
