Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an Early Help Lead Worker on behalf of Swansea Council to work with children and their families in their Early Help Service. The role is hybrid working with a mixture of home working, community visits to service users and office based work. The main office hub for this role is based in Gorseinon (SA4 4FE
). Successful candidates must be able to drive as they will provide face‑to‑face support to families where applicable.
- Complete Early Help Assessments and develop support plans with families
- Facilitate "Team Around the Family" meetings
- Coordinate multi‑agency support using a whole family approach
- Carry out emergency interventions and support visits to families
- Hold a caseload of families in partnership with the Social Worker
- Experience of working with young people and their families
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS check
- Ability to work independently and within a team
The role is a temporary, full‑time position for an initial period of 3 months with a view to being extended on a rolling basis. The pay rate is £18.35 PAYE per hour. The council has plans to recruit permanently into this position in a few months’ time, often promoting temporary staff.
