DHI are recruiting a Peer Co‑ordinator within our Criminal Justice team to support clients across the Bristol and Bath area. We are looking for someone who can bring creativity, enthusiasm and a person‑centred approach to supporting clients, helping them make positive and lasting changes in their lives.
You will join an experienced Criminal Justice service that is committed to delivering high‑quality support and working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes. The service has a specific outreach and engagement remit, working across prisons, police, Liaison and Diversion schemes, courts and probation to support a whole‑system approach that engages clients in treatment and supports their recovery.
This is a varied and rewarding role, providing support to individuals at different stages of their recovery journey. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, complete risk assessments, develop support plans, and help them access the services and resources that support their recovery and wellbeing.
This role is hybrid, with opportunities to work from home and DHI offices, subject to service need. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle insured is essential for this role, as travel across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Bath may be required.

Your background could be from anywhere you have needed to apply problem‑solving and motivational skills. Teaching, Armed Forces and customer service are examples of professions where these transferable skills are often found. You may also have lived experience of the issues our clients face.
Our ValuesWe are an award‑winning charity that challenges social exclusion by supporting people to achieve their potential and our values underpin this.
If you share DHI’s values of flexibility, stimulation, self‑direction and zest for life, then we encourage you to apply.
What We OfferTraining to help you to do your job well, and a friendly and supportive workplace with a track record for promoting high performing staff.
As an employee of DHI, you will have also access to our Employee Assistance Programme, our Cycle Scheme, 26 days annual leave, rising to 31 days (service related), company pension scheme and Charity Worker Discounts.
