East Lothian Health & Social Care Partnership is proud to serve a diverse and vibrant semi-rural population of around 110,000 residents. With excellent transport links by road and rail, our location offers easy access from Fife, the Lothians, and the Scottish Borders—making it a great place to live and work.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our dynamic Adult Social Work Team. Our team provides support to adults across a wide spectrum of needs, including:
- Older adults
- Individuals with acute and enduring mental health conditions
- People living with physical disabilities
- Adults with autism and neurodiverse needs
As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in:
- Holistic assessment and person-centred care planning
- Case management and regular reviews
- Safeguarding responsibilities under Adult Support and Protection legislation
- Participating in our fast-paced duty system to respond to urgent needs
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to working across varied responsibilities
- Confidence in working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment
- A commitment to promoting dignity, choice, and independence for the people we support
In return, we offer:
- A welcoming and inclusive team culture
- Opportunities for professional development and career progression
- A chance to contribute meaningfully to a service that is making a real impact across East Lothian
If you’re passionate about adult social work and want to be part of a team that values innovation, compassion, and excellence—we’d love to hear from you.
