Senior MASH / Information, Advice & Assistance (IAA) Social Worker – Bridgend County Borough Council. Hybrid Working Available. PAYE: £30.50 per hour | Umbrella: £38.43 per hour. 37 hours per week | Initial Contract.
Hoop Social Work are proud to be working in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council to recruit an experienced Social Worker to join their well-established Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) / Information, Advice & Assistance (IAA) Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner who enjoys working in a fast-paced safeguarding environment, making timely decisions and working collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time.
The Role- As a Senior Social Worker within the MASH / IAA Team, you will play a key role in screening referrals, assessing risk, sharing information with partner agencies and making informed decisions that safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
- This is a hybrid working role, offering a healthy balance between office-based collaboration and home working.
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)
- Current registration with Social Care Wales or Social Work England
- A minimum of 6 months' UK experience working as a registered Social Worker
- Experience working within MASH, Front Door, IAA or safeguarding services
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- The ability to provide 3 years of references
- A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Over 20 years' experience specialising in Social Work recruitment
