- Investigate housing complaints and conduct inspections and licensing of houses in multiple occupation.
- Ensure compliance with mobile home site licence conditions.
- Support wider housing colleagues in improving social and supported housing.
- Work flexibly and adaptively, maintaining a ‘can‑do’ attitude.
- Deliver advanced interventions to improve housing conditions and public health.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of housing legislative and regulatory framework and current issues in the sector.
- Experience in a local authority housing enforcement environment or grant delivery team is desirable but transferable skills and experience are welcomed.
- Excellent organisational, communication and mediation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to commit to at least 6 months of employment.
- Fluency in spoken English (legal requirement under the Immigration Act 2016 for customer‑facing roles).
