Job OverviewWe are looking for a Youth Development Lead to join our Health and Social Care Delivery Team in Plymouth. In this role you will deliver a range of employability programmes and recruitment activities that support young people into careers within the health and social care sector. You will work closely with employers, training providers and community partners to create pathways into employment, while providing tailored guidance and support to participants.
Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of young people, providing one-to-one coaching, action planning and ongoing support to help them achieve positive employment outcomes in health and social care.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with health and social care employers, training providers and local stakeholders to identify opportunities for participants.
- Keep meticulous records of information and data on young people, volunteers and partners, ensuring compliance with funding contracts.
- Lead the development and implementation of a local Action Plan that supports Equality, Diversity and Inclusion goals.
- Be prepared to undertake additional duties and deputise when required.
- 30 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays; office closed between Christmas and New Year.
